| Ron Swan - tyre swan | ||
|
Ron D* Swan is a tyre swan working out of a small studio in Hurstbridge, Victoria. He executes as much as 95% of the hands-on work himself and jokes at times that at least his sweat-shop is self-inflicted. Being of reused material himself, he's had a lifelong obsession to creatively use materials that other people throw away. He sources such things as pvc banners, plastic sign boards, canvas offcuts, bicycle tubes and stainless steel spokes. Whenever possible he uses these materials in his products and repeats to himself; "Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Recycle" *D stands for Duckoldson, it's a very long story . . . |
